SO many awesome, wonderful, glorious, exciting things happening here in KGJazz land & I’m super excited to tell you about everything, but I know everyone mostly likes SHORT, so I’ll do my best. LOL

I’m super excited to have this new video up and running and would love, LOVE for you to share it to the four corners if you love it as much as I do.

Second: SUPER excited and beyond honored to be a part of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra’s 2018/2019 season!!!!! 

My first instrument was violin (I still play a bit) and I grew up an Orchestra geek so I can’t begin to tell you how excited I was to be asked to sing with the Orchestra for the upcoming season.
I will be part of the LOVE NOTES concert Feb 9 at 7p / Feb 10 at 3p.

Third, and really, really cool: I have been nominated for this year’s Maryland Music Awards for Best Jazz Artist 2018! The nominees are all amazing artists and I am beyond honored to be included. 

The award ceremony is Dec 15 at 8pm at Ram’s Head Annapolis.
Alas, I am already booked for a private party that night, but anyone who would like to go on my behalf, please let me know!

Fan Club info & NEW MUSIC update

Hello my wonderful, wonderful friends, 

I have been hard and work and just wanted to drop by and give you an update with what's going on here at Gray Manor -- 

Winding down summer and rolling into fall (this is my favorite time of year) and looking forward to heading back in to the studio soon to get some more tunes wrapped up toward the next project. I think you're really going to dig this new music - I'm playing with a lot of different grooves and styles and can't wait until it's time to release this baby in to the world - but we have a ways to go yet ... sigh. LOL

As for the hot off the presses, brand new tune that JUST (like 5 minutes ago) went out to Fan Club members here's a tiny bit of what I shared with them about this tune:

So, some of you know that I have a fascination with Allan Sherman music (Hello Mudda, Hello Father being his most famous, but not, surprisingly anywhere near the top of my personal favorites). I have been itching for quite a while to record a couple of Allan Sherman tunes....and ONE DOWN! I loved playing with the tone of this satirical tune especially when I decided to tackle it as a Tony Bennet style classic to mess with the satire in a bit of a different fashion.

It's a rainy day here in So. Pa., but nothing can diminish my exuberance today!
I've been sitting on this news for a couple of weeks and have been bursting to share with you. Most of you know that I came from a string background and still play violin (mostly for my own enjoyment); which makes this announcement even MORE exciting for me.

I will be joining the Maryland Symphony Orchestra for their amazing 18/19 season!!!! We'll be collaborating on a show in Feb of next year called "Love Notes". Stand by for more info and ticket info.

If this is any indication of how 2018 is going to shake out I am ready to roll!

More exciting news - KGJazz will be kicking their 5th consecutive year at the Intersate Wine Festival https://www.interstatewinefest.com// !! I'm working on some ideas to REALLY take this year to the next level, so grab your tickets early. ;)

Finally, VALENTINE'S DAY is this week. Join me Wed. the 14th at The Cultured Pearl in Rehoboth for sexy night #1, then Fri. the 16th at Hoffman's All American Grill in Hagerstown for a sexy night out with KGJazz trio for sexy night #2. Sexy #3 will be Sat. at Springfield Manor Winery.

Happy 2018!!!!   

I don't know how, but SOMEhow we made it to a brand new year!

  

That means new adventures, new possibilities, and a chance to take a breath and reassess where we are and where we want to be.

This year is already kicking off in great ways for KGJazz and I'll be looking forward to sharing more with you in the coming months. But for starters I'm excited that we'll be sharing new music (finally, some new originals), and adding new venues (that you've requested) to the schedule.
